Thoughts:

Oasis RV Resort is a newer RV resort. It is conveniently located along I-40, but road noise is minimal. The park is kept very neat and tidy. There are longer term campers, but everything is kept extremely neat.

Check-in was easy and efficient. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The asphalt roads are wide and easy to navigate. Most of the sites are pull-throughs. Our site was easy to pull into and long enough to park without unhooking our tow car. There is a nice amount of space between sites. There is a nice pool and playground area. Other amenities include a dog park, laundry facilities and group event pavilion.

Regardless of what GPS shows the route to be, be sure to come in on I-40. There are quite a few County Roads in the area that are dirt and not RV friendly. For our route, we took I-27 to I-40 West. To force your GPS to take you to I-40 West, put Caprock Credit in as a stop and then remove the stop as you get on I-40.

NOTES:

The RV Resort is easy to locate and enter when traveling either direction on I-40. Also, access to return to the freeway is easy to navigate.

There is a Love’s Truck Stop located at the corner of Arnot Road and I-40. It is a smaller location and fairly crowded, but was sufficient for our fuel stop. There are a couple of gas pumps that would likely work for a Gas Motorhome. There is access to go around the building to pull out of the parking lot.
