Thoughts:

Northlake Village RV Park is conveniently located along I-35W. It is located across the freeway from Texas Motor Speedway. We have stayed at the park twice while attending events at the Speedway. It is also approximately 4 hours from Houston and that makes it a good first or last night stop on a longer trip. The park is kept very neat and tidy. There are longer term campers, but everything is kept extremely neat.

Check-in was easy and efficient. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The RV park offers several sites at the front of the park for overnight/short-term stays. The asphalt road is easy to navigate and there is sufficient space to back-in to the RV sites. The office can also provide someone to assist with backing in if needed. There is a nice amount of space between sites. There is a nice pool, bath house and laundry facilities. Recently, the RV park added a nice fenced dog park to the area. It includes a gazebo and seating.

NOTES:

When events are being held at the Speedway, reservations fill up very quickly, so plan early.

If you are looking for something different for dinner, Marco’s Pizza will deliver to your site. Also, Roanoke has a town square located near by that offers various shopping and dining options.
